  • Panorama Beach: Known for its mellow and forgiving waves, this is one of the best spots for beginners, offering both long rides and less challenging conditions.
  • Devil’s Rock: A friendly spot for beginners with relatively small waves that are perfect for practicing.
  • Killer Point (with caution): Although known for bigger waves, Killer Point can still have some small, manageable days, especially in the late spring or early fall. It’s important to surf here with a guide or instructor if you’re a beginner.
  • Tamraght Beach: Located just south of Taghazout, this beach offers gentle waves, making it ideal for beginner surfers.
BEST TIME TO SURF IN TAGHAZOUT FOR BEGINNERS?

For intermediate surfers, the best time to surf in Taghazout is during fall (September to November) and spring (March to June). These months offer a mix of consistent, medium-sized waves, with fewer crowds compared to peak season. The weather is pleasant, and water temperatures range from 18-22°C (64-72°F), ideal for a thinner wetsuit. Early mornings and late afternoons are usually the best times for clean, manageable conditions, with spots like Anchor Point and Killer Point offering more challenging waves.
